Yanks lost 0-4 in Game 3 of 4 Game series against the Detroit Tigers.

Yanks couldn't get anything going in offense with only 4 hits by the great 5-0 pitcher Max Scherzer. Freddy Garcia really couldn't get much help but the only bullpen pitcher Buddy Carlyle pitched a scoreless, hitless, 8th inning with 2 strikeouts.

Win went to Max Scherzer (5-0)

Loss went to Freddy Gracia (1-2)
