Yanks won 3-1 in Game 1 of 3 Game series against the Kansas City Royals

Yanks played well and got the best pitching out of Garcia. Jeter hit well and got 2 strong hits and maybe he is hitting well. Mo pitched well and got his 13th save of the year. Yanks didn't play sloppy which is good sign.

Win went to Freddy Garcia (2-2)

Loss went to Kyle Davies (1-5)

Save went to Mariano Rivera (13)
